Sumba Warp Ikat cloth weaving tour – follow the process for preparing, dying and weaving Sumba Warp Ikat cloth
Prailiu village tour – Guided tour around the village with one of the locals, a small booklet describing the culture and significance of different locations is provided in English.
Traditional cloth – Wear the traditional Sumba ceremonial cloth of the Royal family, and take lots of photos!
Cooking – Help prepare traditional Sumbanese food in the kitchen (10am-12pm or 5pm – 7pm, please let us know by 4pm).
Cloth Market – See some of the finest weaving in Sumba, and buy a piece to take home. Best arranged for late afternoon, so you can appreciate the colours of the cloth in natural light. Also a great setting for photography. This can be arranged quickly, but for the best variety of cloth, please notify us 2 hours beforehand.
Dancing lesson – watch traditional dancing, wear traditional cloth and try local cuisine (Group cost of Rp 1.000.000 for up to 10 people)
